The Cross
A young lady was at the end of her rope. Seeing no way out she dropped to her knees in prayer.
"Lord, I can't go on," she said. "I have too heavy a cross to bear."
The Lord replied,"My child, if you can't bear its weight, just place your cross inside this room.Then open that other door and pick out any cross you wish."

The young lady was filled with relief. "Thank you Lord," she sighed, and she did what she was told.
Upon entering the other door, she saw many other crosses, some so large the tops weren't even visible. Then she spotted a tiny cross leaning against the far wall. "I'd like that one Lord," she whispered. And the Lord replied,"My daughter, that is the cross you just brought in."
We all have our trials and tribulations, yet sometimes those of others seem so much less troubling than our own.

THANKS FOR TODAY

Today, I am thankful for Today. Today is what I make it, and I am making it purposeful.

Today, I am thankful that yesterday has past. It allows me to have reflections and accomplishments.

Today, I am thankful for the hope of tomorrow. It is my chance to improve on today

Today, I am thankful for my health. I have survived two catastrophic illnesses, and have lived to testify of the healing power of God.

Today, I am thankful for my children. I am very proud of the people that God has made them and his hand in each of their lives.

Today, I am thankful for new ideas. God is a creator, and he inspires me with much creativity.

Today, I am thankful for every one of my 300 pair of shoes. Because I today, I can wear them and my feet are not swollen from treatments and surgeries.

Today, I am thankful for a sense of humor. Laughter gets me through some of the hardest places in life.

Today, I am thankful for this blog. It helps me to addresses my need to outwardly express thought.
Today, I am thankful for all my natural senses, and my supernatural senses. They allow me to understand that

I Am Pro-Choice……
Pro-Choice, though strongly related to the issues of abortion and life and death of the unborn children in the United States, is also a spiritual concept FOR God’s reborn children.
Pro – meaning FOR, not against
Choice – a decision, a preference, a cognitive selection
The attitudes I embrace TODAY are choices I make. I am FOR ………making the right choices to advance the purpose of Christ in my life.
How I will perceive my circumstances is a choice. I am FOR ………. developing perception that will advance the awareness of God in my world;
How I will respond to my Perceptions is a choice. I am FOR …………allowing the holy spirit to show me, in the spirit what I perceive in the natural.
How I will react to the antecedents that formed my ideas, ideals, opinions, attitudes and perceptions is my choice. I am FOR ………..reacting with actions that will promote God’s plan FOR me TODAY.
How open or closed my mind is to new concepts and how I receive them is my choice. A mind is like a parachute; If it never opens, it can be deadly.
How much control I will allow the Holy Spirit to have TODAY is my choice FOR acknowledging God in ALL my ways, and allow him to direct my path.
Life without the Holy Spirit is like a pencil with erasers on both ends…… POINTLESS.

Wow!!!! Lord you are SHOWING me. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not come. I thank you Father for the miracles of yesterday. In the last three months, I have seen your hand, by seeking your face.
Dear Lord,
I AM GUILTY of loosing sight of you, and your plan for me………….Please forgive me

I worried that the promises you gave me, some how had been forgotten. I worried about the pending eviction and becoming homeless again. The empty bank account, the uninsured auto, the bare cupboard, the unpaid bills, the pending appeals, having no gas in the car, the returning headaches from the tumor; the breaking /fracturing teeth, the new job start date, the school completion date, and why I was feeling so alone, when I really really need your help.
So I asked you to let me hear from you. Your word promised that you would be a PRESENT HELP IN MY TIME OF TROUBLE. ……. That I would not be forsaken, and that my children and grand children would be fed without having to plead for daily bread.
You reminded me that I was too caught up in the PROVISIONING, and I needed to be caught up in the PROVIDER. But still……..
I woke yesterday tormented by the prospect of being without substance for the day. I knew that the four (4) chapter exam on financial and transactional accounting would be here in less than twelve (12) hours. There would be tons of material to memorize, conceptualize and recant. 12 cost formulas, 6 decision analysis formulas, 45 vocabulary concepts………AND ENOUGH GAS TO GET TO TOWN AND BACK after I dipped in the penny jar. 4:00 am and already, my day was OUT OF CONTROL because my thought life had embraced FEAR.
Then, as you always do…....... when you do…………. Just like you do………….. YOU SPOKE to me. FEAR NOT. I recalled Pastor Jimmy saying on Sunday, “God said….. Fear Not”
BE LIKE THE GRASS……. “what if the grass were always complaining about every season it endured?” (Sunday was a blast…. I am so happy it is helping me to make it through my life full of Monday’s…. Rainey days and Mondays……..)
MY FAITHFULNESS DOES NOT WAIVER. Why does yours? I taught you to pray after this manner.

Which art in heaven. Understand that my wisdom is removed from your circumstance and is infinite, like I am.

……… Give us this day (NOW) our daily bread. Yeah God,….. that’s the part I am having trouble with. I am overwhelmed and under encouraged, with all this critical junk. Biting just a little bit at a time is hard, when I don’t want to chew or swallow any of it and when all the demands on my life seem so dire and immediate.

Fast forward. I gave out of gas last night, in the natural, but not in the spirit and not before making it to the exam and scoring 98% plus extra credit.
A friend came after midnight with a gallon gas can to rescue me from the side of the road...PRESENT HELP.
I survived yesterday and God brought manna….. Daily Bread….. I even lived to tell about it!

Why Mime Ministry

In the Old Testament, Ezekiel was a prophet that was called to announce God's judgment on Israel, and other nations, and to proclaim restoration for God's people. His preaching was not well received by the Jews who were with him in captivity, Chapter 3, so God gave Ezekiel many methods, illustrations and demonstrations to help get the message across to the Jews, Chapter 4, and 5 where the Siege of Jerusalem is Symbolized through silent acting. Ezekiel acted out most of the methods, and did illustrations for Israel. Israel later became restored again and God renewed the Temple and a New Jerusalem, Chapter 40.

Ministering Mime is interpreting bible themes, scripts, and gospel music, using illustrations and non-verbal methods , and sign language to give a visual representation of the word.

In The Now

In the NOW, yesterday is made up of the experiences that led us to TODAY. Tomorrow is the HOPE we are NOT ASHAMED of. In the NOW, our LIFE takes on the gerund form. In the NOW, our plan may speak to TOMORROW, but our purpose speaks to TODAY.
